Grade 9 Assessments

Grade 9 is the final year of the General Education and Training band of education. From here, learners move to the Further Education

Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Collaborative Problem Solving

The IEB Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Collaborative Problem Solving assessment is available for learners at Grade 10 and 11.

Grade 11 IeBTs Mathematics and Physical Science

The purpose of the IeBT is to assess Grade 11 learners’ performance in the Grade 11 curriculum. The results serve as both a benchmark in competence with the Grade 11 syllabus, but also an indicator of areas of concern i.e. a growth-related tool before Grade 12.
